Introducing Taxonomy Management: shape your taxonomy with Enterpret Agent
Today we’re launching taxonomy management on Enterpret Agent. Ask the agent how your feedback categories should change, and it researches the request, shows you everything the change would touch, and applies nothing until you approve. It’s live today for all Enterpret customers.
Every support ticket, app review, survey response, and sales call in Enterpret is filed into a single taxonomy, the one list of categories that all your feedback rolls into. Everything you learn from customers runs through it. Trend lines are measured against it, feedback reaches the right team through it, and when someone asks the agent what customers think of the new checkout, the answer is reasoned over it. If a launch has no category, the feedback about it never shows up in a report. If one problem lives under three names, it looks a third as big as it is. Reliable answers about your product and your customers start with a structure that matches how your business thinks.
That structure adapts on its own. When customers start describing something new, Enterpret notices the pattern and creates a category for it, while existing categories keep their names and their history. But adaptive doesn't always mean aligned. The structure might name something differently than your team does, or split a problem in a way your teams don't think in. You could always fix that by hand, one edit at a time. Now you can ask.
What you can ask for
Track what you just shipped. Point the agent at your releases channel in Slack and ask whether anything you've launched is missing a category. It checks the channel against your taxonomy and proposes what to add.

Merge categories that mean the same thing. Ask the agent to find the look-alikes. It ranks them by how much feedback each one holds, shows real customer quotes for each, and you decide what survives.

Rename, move, split, or reorganize. Rename a category to match the way your team talks, or reshape a whole section of the structure in one pass instead of thirty small edits.
Hand it your plan. Paste a spreadsheet of changes, upload a doc, or share a URL. The agent maps each item to your taxonomy and flags anything it can't match before it proposes a change.
Put the upkeep on a schedule. Connect Slack, Notion, GitHub, or your help center, then set up a workflow that runs on its own cadence. Sync new categories from your changelog every week, or review your catch-all categories every Monday and propose what deserves a category of its own.

Who it's for
Taxonomy management is built for whoever keeps the structure honest, and at most companies that's more than one team.
Product Ops sits between what ships and what customers say about it. Connect your releases channel or changelog, and every launch has a category before the first ticket arrives. When the roadmap renames something, one request renames the category to match, so product reviews and feedback reports speak the same language.
VoC and insights teams often own the taxonomy, and they’re the ones leadership asks when a number looks off. With duplicates merged and history reclassified, the trends they present mean what they say.
Support and CX Ops live with the cost of a messy structure, because routing and reporting run through it. Ask the agent to merge the look-alikes and review the catch-all categories every Monday, and feedback keeps reaching the right team.
Product managers and insights teams need numbers they can defend in a roadmap review. With duplicates merged and history reclassified, a trend line means what it says.
Every change you ask for waits for your approval
Enterpret keeps adapting on its own as new feedback arrives. The approval step covers the changes you ask the agent for.
Before it proposes anything, the agent measures how much feedback each change touches and pulls real customer quotes as evidence. You see the full effect before anything applies. When you approve, your feedback history is reclassified against the new structure, so your trend lines stay continuous instead of breaking at every edit.
Scheduled workflows follow the same rule. The agent proposes on schedule, and you stay the approver.
